Come along and learn the ins and out of pottery with Aimee in this 8 week course!
This class is for homeschooled teens ages 11+
Participants will:
- Learn about sculpting, hand building, and the pottery wheel!
- Make a new project each week.
- Explore glazing techniques and learn all about the firing process pottery needs to go through.
8-10 pieces will be completed, includes glaze and firings.
Pottery term 4
1- Slab keep it cup x 2
2- pottery wheel plates
3- trimming and load slow kiln
4- glaze, load glaze kiln, record in book
5- phone holder with amplifier
6- pottery wheel stacking bowl x 3
7- Trimming, load slow kiln
8- glaze, load glaze kiln, record in book
Advanced Student Fee:
The Advanced Student fee is a 4 week pass is for students who have completed a course with us and know how to use our studio independently.
The 4 weeks can be used over time and do not have to be consecutive. The $125 covers studio time, supplies and firings. Clay is $60/bag and glazed are weighed at $14/kg after they have been fired.
This class begins on Tuesday 22nd Oct from 10:15-11:45am and runs for 8 weeks.
