Our in-house Women’s Art Retreat is a beautifully curated weekend where you’ll be guided through inspiring art workshops, treated to delicious food, surrounded by like-minded women and supported by our warm, talented creative team.

Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned creative, this retreat is about slowing down, trying something new, reconnecting with yourself and leaving with a heart (and hands) full of handmade treasures.

🌿 What to Expect

From the moment you arrive, you’ll be welcomed into our light-filled Port Macquarie studio, gifted your own goodie bag and apron (to keep!), and gently guided through a dreamy lineup of workshops across multiple mediums.

You’ll enjoy:

• Pottery- hand building or on the wheel
• Texture painting
• Mosaic 
• Watercolour

• Resin Pouring
• Open studio free-create time
• A mini end-of-retreat exhibition of your work

🗓 Weekend Itinerary (Highlights)

Saturday

• 9:00am – Doors open, studio tour & goody bags
• 9:30am – Grounding pottery session with Kellie- scrafitto plate and mug set 
• 12:00pm – Catered lunch
• 12:30pm – Texture painting with Cherie
• 3:30pm – Resin Pouring with Aimee
• 5:00–8:00pm – Free-create / open studio play time 

Sunday

• 9:00am – Doors open
• 9:30am – Mosaic with Aimee 
• 11:30am – Lunch
• 12:00pm – Watercolour with Cherie 
• 2:00pm – Charcoal still life with Amanda
  
• 4:00pm – Mini exhibition, farewell photos & group hugs

🎨 Workshop Details You’ll Love

Pottery with Kellie
Create two clay pieces on the wheel (cup, bowl or trinket dish). We fire and glaze them for you — ready in 4 weeks or posted for a small fee.

Texture Painting with Cherie
Learn to mix colours, layer texture paste and create a stunning modern artwork you’ll be obsessed with.

Mosaic with Aimee
Create your own custom mosaic design using cut tiles and exterior glue on a tile base, ready to display either inside on an easel or outside in the garden.

Watercolour with Cherie
Learn to layer, glaze and blend watercolour paint the right way! Cherie will show you multiple techniques in this landscape tutorial.

Charcoal still life with Amanda Sketch a variety of values using charcoal and pastels. Frame your favourite own artwork to take home.

Resin Pouring with Aimee
Go with the flow in this exciting resin pouring class. Decide what base to pour on when you’re at the studio.
