Get ready for a relaxing & creative experience at our beautiful art studio in Port Macquarie. We’ve changed things up this time to offer more flexibility in accommodation choices. Once here, you'll be spoiled with creative projects, delicious food and new friends.

Saturday

9:00 - Doors Open- tour & goody bags

9:30 - Ground yourself with a pottery session with Dee

12:00 - Lunch served

12:30 - Resin pouring with Aimee

2:30 - Gouache workshop with Cherie

Sunday

The full itinerary...

Day 1: Saturday morning you'll arrive, get a tour of the studio, open your goodie bag, put on your new apron (to keep!) and be immersed in our favourite mediums.

Breakfast includes a continental breakfast, fruit, coffee and tea.

To kick off the creative workshops we have a special pottery workshop with Dee. She will guide you on a pottery wheel session where you'll have several attempts to make a bowl, cup or vase. You will keep your favourite 2 pieces to be fired and glazed. Your clay creations will take 2 weeks to dry then we will bisque fire, clear glaze, and fire them again. Your final piece will be ready to collect from The Seed Art School in 6 weeks or we can post out for a fee.

Lunch - You’ll have a delicious lunch catered from Group Therapy: a toastie and salad, chips and cookies.

Next up is our super star Cherie who will introduce you to Gouache. She will guide you on selecting an image, painting the background and layering your colours. You're going to fall in love with this painting style!

Lastly you'll ignite your senses in this fun resin suncatcher workshop with Aimee. You'll select what colours, crystals, and design you will pour. You will use doming resin to pour colours into your metal frame on Saturday then assemble and add beads on Sunday.

Day 2: On Sunday we'll turn up the heat in our Pyrography (wood burning) workshop with Aimee. She will teach you how to use a burning tool, change tips, create and transfer a design then burn it onto a wood base.

Lunch - We will be serving a delicious spread of homemade sweet and savoury slices, salads, and snacks for the rest of the afternoon.

Next you will add a handle onto your pottery, then indulge in a DIY body butter concoction with Dee that you'll learn to mix up and pour into the cutest pre-made pottery vessels for you to keep.

We will conclude our retreat with a Watercolour Earring workshop where Amanda will teach you how to choose a colour palette and create dynamic paper designs. Once dried you will cut and combine shapes to make an adorable earring collection ready to keep or gift.

Wrap up the weekend with a mini exhibit showcasing all of your hard work. We will capture the moment with plenty of pictures and group hugs, until next time X.

Each day we'll provide lunch, drinks and nibbles throughout the day. The meals are wholesome, organic and made with love! If you have any dietary restrictions let us know, as we’ll take care of you. Just add it in the food request text area when booking your ticket.
