School Excursions at The Seed

The Seed CW loves working with schools! Bring your group in for an exciting art session tailored to your curriculum and create individual artworks or a group project/mural. We have many options for you to choose if we work with a specific year, 1 class, or the entire school. To extend the creative experience, we are happy to work with your P&C to frame the student artwork to be used as an art exhibit raising funds for your school.

How it works

  • The Seed can run the workshop from our location at 3/6 Belah Road, Port Macquarie or travel to the school between school hours.
  • We provide all supplies, set-up, clean-up and professional step-by-step instructions.
  • Cost per child varies depending on project, no more than $20/student, $25 with frame.
  • When work is dried and ready to present, The Seed team can frame and label the artwork, then deliver to your school. P&C or a designated teacher or group can then set up for a fund-raising art exhibit.
  • Parents are invited to view the artworks and purchase the framed piece, raising money for the school.

The projects available that align with the Visual Arts standards include (but are not limited to):

  • Observing environment and draw/paint landscape
